Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Quality and Patient Safety, the Medical Staff Peer Review Coordinator performs a wide variety of functions designed to coordinate and maintain the integrity of the Medical Staff quality and peer review program. All duties will be performed in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the mission and vision of the hospital and the department.
o BSN or degree in a health care related field
o Clinical experience and a general understanding of the quality improvement process and the hospital quality measure process.
Licensure and/or Certification
o Current license as a professional nurse in Massachusetts required
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Detail Oriented
o Ability to manage data and generate reports
o Knowledge of statistical processes and measurement techniques
o Ability to work independently and facilitate teams
o Organizational skills
o Excellent customer service skills.
o Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
o Experienced Computer skills required.
o Ability to maintain confidential information.
