The Clinical Coordinator supports 24-hour accountability for clinical and management functions under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The Clinical Coordinator provides clinical and administrative support to the nursing staff both in the presence of, and absence of, the Nurse Manager. Works with department and hospital leadership to advance the goals, outcomes and direction of the service. Demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based practice and assures team members are compliant with accepted standards of care. Acts as a role model and serves as a clinical resource to other providers. Assists in the orientation and ongoing development of other team members. Flexible hours required to meet unit needs, occasional weekends/holidays, based on need.
Facility: Addison Gilbert Hospital, Gloucester MA
Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or higher degree preferred. Certification/License: Current Massachusetts RN License, BLS required, ACLS/PALS if required on unit, minimum of 3 years experience in field of practice, previous leadership and/or Clinical Instructor experience preferred.
