This role will handle multiple projects and tasks as the PeopleSoft HRMS Subject Matter Expert. The individual will serve as a liaison between the business and Fiscal IS, ensuring that system functionality meets the needs of all impacted user groups. The incumbent will draw upon extensive knowledge of HR processes and PeopleSoft HRMS applications (Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and Time & Labor) to recommend and influence best practice solutions when it comes to business process improvement and software design. This individual will also be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the application analysts.
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
8-10 years related work experience required.
Minimum of 7 years experience implementing, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting PeopleSoft HRMS applications (release 8.9, PeopleTools 8.49) - Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and Time & Labor
Strong communication skills are essential; must possess the ability to interact with people from all organizational levels and build consensus through negotiation and diplomacy
Must be able to work on and lead cross-functional teams, prioritize work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and anticipate and react to project adjustments promptly and efficiently
Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems.
Working knowledge of PeopleTools development and integration technologies (release 8.49 and 8.51) including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Component Interface, Application Engine, Integration Broker, SQR, and Data Mover
Proficiency with PS/Query and SQL (preferably Oracle)
Proficiency with Office productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
