Job Description
Performs professional duties involving the selection or development, implementation, testing, documentation, maintenance and efficient utilization of applications software to meet clients' needs for assigned tasks or standard projects, or assigned aspects major clinical and business information systems projects.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Over 3 years and up to and including 5 years experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in Information Services- preferably within the acute care setting.
Understanding of System Development Life Cycle - requirement/analysis, development, testing and documentation.
Previous experience supporting clinical systems, for example Centricity - Imagecast, Hologic, Connect R, Powerscribe and knowledge of HL7 transactions.
