Job Description
Under the direct supervision of a technician supervisor and pharmacist, performs medication related tasks such as packaging, preparation of all forms of medications, record keeping, and all non judgmental aspects of drug distribution. May assist the Pharmacist in the transportation and handling of Schedule II controlled substances.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in math. Knowledge and ability to use a computer for data entry. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions with accuracy, efficiency, and dependability. Must have successfully completed a Board-approved pharmacy technician-training program by obtaining a passing score on a Board-approved pharmacy technician assessment exam. Certified by a Board-approved certifying body (PTCP).
