The Office for Human Research Studies (OHRS) manages scientific and institutional review board review for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center. Currently there are approximately 1800 protocols per year active within DF/HCC. The HRC is responsible for a variety of activities involved in the review, approval and oversight of research involving human subjects. This may include: assisting in the management of exempt and expedited decisions; the screening of research protocols; drafting and/or overseeing correspondence related to committee reviews; and follow up on action items from meetings, activation of protocols and any other items related to the operations and responsibilities of OHRS. The HRC interacts with DFCI and DF/HCC managers, scientific staff, and support personnel.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
BA or BS with experience in a cancer center or IRB office prefered
