Job Description
Performs extensive cleaning duties. Applies knowledge of cleaning equipment and methods. Uses power buffers, vacuums, and other related duties for checkouts including sanitizing beds, making beds, cleaning patient rooms, furniture and floors.
Qualifications: Ability to read, write, and follow simple English instruction. Requires 2 to 3 years experience as a Houseworker. Employees must be at least 18 years of age to perform this role.
Applicants must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English language fluently. Applicants are required to have the ability to lift 50 pounds and push 125 pounds. Applicants must be able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders and stay on their feet up to 8 hours. Position requires the ability to work around bio-hazard and clean bodily fluids. Applicants must must possess good customer service skills to interact with patients/customers. This is a position for the Memorial/Hahnemann campuses. 2 years previous floorcare project work experience preferred.
