Job Description
Works with considerable independence to perform and interpret various chemical, microscopic, and/or bacteriologic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Is fully proficient in the use of all equipment and procedures for an assigned area.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree or successful completion of an accredited four year school of Medical Technology. ASCP certification as an MT is preferred. Three years of related experience.
Microbiology experience preferred within the last two (2) years. If a qualified candidate can't be found, the dept will consider hiring at a lower grade. May be required to travel/work at other sites: Univ, Mem, Hahn, etc.
