The pharmacist in this position will be working in the hospital based outpatient pharmacy. Responsibilities include the following: prescription verification for ambulatory adult and pediatric oncology patients; prescription verification for employees; resolving insurance issues; verification of technician's work; inventory management; investigational drug management; interactions with patients, providers and other hospital staff. This position will also participate in the various quality improvement projects in the outpatien pharmacy. The pharmacist will also orient and train new staff pharmacists and technicians. In addition, there will be opportunities to mentor pharmacy residents and students.
Job Qualifications:
Pharm.D degree, Pharmacy License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, retail pharmacy experience or hospital based outpatient pharmacy experience
Schedule:
Monday through Friday various day shifts. No weekends/evenings or Holidays.
