The HITO Physician Training Program is a collaboration between the Dana-Farber/Childrens Hospital Cancer Center (DF/CHCC) and Hospital Infantil de Teleton Oncologia (HITO) a new pediatric oncology hospital in Mexico. The goal of this program is to develop and implement a training program for the HITO physician and nursing staff . The Project Manager for the HITO Program will be responsible for organizing the activities of the initiative, maintaining communication with all stakeholders, developing educational materials, managing the logistics for the trainees and working with the physician leaders within DF/CHCC to ensure timely completion of the project. The Project Manager will report to the Director of Clinical Programs for Pediatric Oncology. This is an 18-month position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate all activities of the HITO Physician Training Program including possible travel to Mexico.
Work with the DF/CHCC Physician team to develop curricula for each training area
Work with administrators at DFCI and BCH to ensure that trainees are appropriately credentialed at both institutions.
Coordinate all travel for trainers and trainees. This will include flights, housing, visas, etc.
Serve as the primary point of contact for HITO trainees while they are in Boston.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelors degree. Masters degree in nursing, public health or other related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a health care setting
Experience in international health preferred.
Fluency in Spanish.

Schedule:

M - F, 9 - 5. Some travel possible.
