Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders, performs a wide variety of cardiology testing and report processing functions for both inpatients and outpatients.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
o High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
o A minimum of 6 months experience as and EKG technician required.
o Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in EKG, stress testing, and Holter application.
Licensure and/or Certification
o BLS healthcare provider required.
Skills
o Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in EKG, stress testing, and Holter application.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make patients comfortable with testing.
o Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
o Computer skills required.
o Ability to maintain confidential information.
