Post Doctoral Fellowship in Developmental Neuropsychology:
Developmental Neuropsychological assessment in outpatient clinic. Weekly didactic seminar, case presentations and supervised testing experience and consultation of children and adolescents with developmental, learning, attention, behavioral and/or psychiatric disorders.
Provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients in the Neurodevelopmental Center, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
Conducts assessments in accordance with the generally accepted principals of the American Psychological Association.
Coordinates recommendations of patients with referring physician or agency.
Communicates findings to family members, patients and or referral concerns as appropriate.
Completes reports in a timely fashion.
Maintains required records, reports, and files.
Attends meetings as required.
Maintains departmental policies and procedures.
Provides departmental coverage to other units as required by personnel absences or other changes in staffing requirements.
Observes policies and procedures related to Quality Assurance, Continued Quality Improvement, Safety, Infection Control and Environmental Control programs.
Participates in projects, studies and other duties assigned by Department Manager.
Proficient in basic psychological assessment techniques for children required
Current enrollment in a Doctoral degree in Psychology program and completion of all coursework and pre doctoral internship is required.
Prerequisites include prior training and experience using the WISC-III and other psychological/projective measures.
Work under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist.
