Job Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in cell or cancer biology with 2-5 years research experience post Ph.D.
Industry experience is preferred
A strong understanding of oncology biology, signal transduction, and oncogenomics
Experience using RNAi for target discovery and/or validation is desirable.
Superior scientific and technical skills in the areas of in vitro cell biology and a preference for experience with in vitro pharmacology studies.
Strong management and organizational skills
Independent, self motivated and innovative.
An outstanding record of publication.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and team skills.

Ability to excel in a goal-oriented, multifaceted and fast-moving team environment.

We seek a highly motivated and collaborative cancer biologist to join our Drug Discovery group. This individual will be identify and validate the next generation of cancer targets. This individual will also support collaboration with external partners as well as internal drug discovery programs.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for validating novel oncology targets.
Responsible for supporting and advancing small molecule drug discovery programs.
Responsible for studying the mechanism of action of different targets.
Responsible for pre-specified deliverables to external industry partners within specified timelines
This individual will also be a key team member in collaborations with external partners as well as internal drug discovery programs.

Mentor and manage a small group of scientists to deliver innovative results
