Experience required in cell/tissue culture and molecular biology techniques. Specifically, candidate should be well-versed in cytotoxicity and proliferation assays, western blot analysis (immuno-precipitations and immunoblotting), transfections, flow cytometry (annexin V/propidium iodide staining/cell-cycle analysis), RNA/DNA extractions, PCR, growing/purification of plasmids (e.g. GST fusion constructs), and general lab organization/ordering as well as lab safety issues. Expertise in evaluation of drug efficacy studies in animal models is required.
