The pharmacy technician in this position will be working in the outpatient research pharmacy. Responsibilities include: dispensing outpatient investigational medications, managing investigational drug inventory, preparation of intravenous admixtures, barcoding investigational medications, preparation for clincal trial audits, managing drug returns with the study team and sponsors, and various quality control tasks. The technician will also participate in quality improvement initiatives. The technician will also assist in the orientation and training of newly hired techncians.
High School Diploma, certified pharmacy technician, 5 years pharm tech experience in a hospital outpatient setting including IV admixture
Monday through Friday variable day shifts.
