The Donor Services Specialist acts as a point-person for 2,000+ annual gift-related inquires from donors, staff and other parties received via phone, email, fax, USPS and other vehicles; provides highest level of quality customer service. Additionally, the Donor Services Specialist thoroughly investigates all gift-related issues and responds to all inquiries on behalf of DFCIs Division of Development within one business day of initial contact.
Bachelors Degree preferred, with 1 to 2 years of professional experience. Demonstrated ability to handle inquiries courteously and efficiently in compliance with defined standards. Detail-oriented team player with excellent verbal, written language, organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong reading and oral communication skills required. Knowledge of the PledgeMaker donor/gift database, and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel essential.
This is a full time position. Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00. some weekend and evenings may be required.
