Reporting to the Manager of Revenue & Reimbursement, assist in the development, implementation, and operation of systems and processes to support the activities and goals of the Financial Planning (FP) department. This includes the preparation of the annual Medicare and 403 cost reports, the development of departmental volume and revenue budgets, and the development of 3rd Party, regulatory, and internal revenue analyses.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required, Master's is a plus. 3-7 years of related work experience in the health care industry, preferably in a hospital reimbursement setting or equivalent. Requires superior computer skills including MS Office applications and automated general ledger systems. Experience with data mining and relational databases as well as PeopleSoft, IDX, MPC, TSI, and Harvest a plus. Must have superior interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with all levels of internal and external staff and must be able to function independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
