Job Description
Provides patient care by assisting with the implementation of care plans. Takes and records vital signs such as blood pressures, temperatures, height, weight, etc.in EHR. Performs EKGs, assists physician and others with clinical procedures, including PT/INR's and other labs. Performs a variety of clinical and clerical functions to support office functions.
Must be reliable and highly motivated to work in this very busy Cardiology Practice.
Qualifications: Knowledge of office and laboratory procedures. Equivalent to high school education plus additional specialized courses. Certification or certification eligible as Medical Assistant required or three to five years experience as a medical assistant.
