Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager, the Laboratory Technologist independently performs a wide range of duties associated with the operation of laboratory services. Will perform technical testing in all laboratory departments including phlebotomy thus meeting the needs of our patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics. Will also perform initial review of daily quality control and laboratory logsheets for compliance.
Qualifications: Competency in all areas of assigned laboratory area.
Required: MT/MLT certification
Preferred: Blood bank experience, ASCP registration
