Facility: South Shore Hospital - South Weymouth, South Weymouth MA Department: Infection Control (7013) - Full Time - Day Assists Infection Control Manager in the promotion and application of infection control measures to prevent and/or control infections among patients and employees. Facilitates compliance with requirements of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospital Organization (JCAHO), Center for Disease Control (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Department of Public Health. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or equivalent, with current license to practice in Massachusetts. Infection Control/Epidemiology Educational course. Certification from Board of Infection Control preferred. Minimum of two (2) years experience working with infection control methods with computer background preferred.
