3rd Party Support (Advocate)

Collaboration Activity: Golf/Major Gift Liaison

Identify 2-3 donors that may have individual giving prospects that would be interested in giving large gifts to the tournament they are involved with. MG Liaison will check in with appropriate golf staff advocates each month to give updates on the following:

Assist in the development of the JF NEPGA Regional Golf Day

Mini Golf Day

Administrative/Other Tasks



Job Qualifications

Reports to Director of the Golf Program. Has support from Development Assistant. This position has partial supervision of one assistant and will seek major decision-making authority from direct supervisor. However, independent decision-making on day-to-day tasks and good judgment is required for dealing with Institute donors, trustees, and senior staff and confidential information. Bachelor's degree required with minimum 2-4 years experience in events management. Organized and detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills; possess the ability to work well with DFCI Departments and donor/volunteer constituencies; juggle multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong word processing and Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required. A high degree of confidentiality must always be exercised.



Schedule

This is a full time position. Monday - Friday 8:30 to 5:00. Some weekend and evening hours may be required. This position is looking for an October 1 start date.
