The Associate Director (Regional) is responsible for the development and management of a principal and major gifts portfolio of prospects in major metropolitan markets outside of New England; the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of $1-7 million solicitations per year; generating $250,000 - $1 million in year one, $500,000 –$1 million in revenue in year two and $1–5 million in revenue by year three and beyond.



Job Qualifications

BA required; masters degree preferred, 5-10 years increasing experience with a track record of successful major gift solicitations in large multifaceted complex university, healthcare or scientific setting. Understanding and appreciation for gift planning vehicles a plus. Ability and willingness to conduct regular and multi-night travel. Superior written and verbal communication skills, strong entrepreneurial, organizational and managerial capabilities, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks also required. Public speaking experience and effectiveness necessary along with the ability to communicate and work with people at all levels. Must exercise significant judgment and confidentiality in working with prospects, volunteers, and Institute staff. Frequent and regular travel, evening and weekend work required. Microsoft Office Suite familiarity necessary.



Schedule

This is a full time position.  Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00.  Some weekend and evening hours may be required.
