Oversee the Hero Program
Recruit heroes
Plan and execute Hero-Match Party
Oversee Hero involvement on Walk Day
Manage Restricted Fundraising program
Coordinate TPE program
Manage external event managers
Classify and track revenue
Monitor appeal codes
Assistant Volunteer Coordinator
Assist with recruitment of volunteers and community groups
Register all corporate and group volunteers
Assist with preparation and execution of key volunteer trainings and event day information
Manage supply order and organization of materials for each Start and Refueling Station
Inventory all supplies from Start & Refueling Stations post-event
Maintain a portfolio of 25 participants to cultivate and retain, including TPE managers, heroes and their families, and key volunteers
Provide administrative support to the Director and team as needed
Assist Assistant Director with the management, recording and tracking of $1,000+ donors
Provide back-up to the Assistant to respond to calls, and emails from participants, volunteers, donors, and inquiries; suggest appropriate responses and inform supervisor when the situation merits his/her attention
Schedule meetings as required, assist in the coordination of these meetings making necessary arrangements, and taking meeting minutes if required
Provide support for front desk and related duties as requested and needed
Assist team with set-up and logistics on event weekend
Participate in at least one other organization's event
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required with.1-2 years events experience. Strong written and verbal communications skills are necessary with a strong orientation to customer service. Superior organizational skills and ability to manage a variety of projects is key. Solid computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office Suite products is absolutely necessary.
Schedule
This is a full time position. Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00. Some weekend and evening hours may be required.
