The Michor Lab of the Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) seeks a Program Development Associate to join their team.

The position provides a wide range of complex administrative support in a fast-paced academic department. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Lab Director, project coordination and management for the grant funded Physical Science Oncology Center (PSOC) -- a collaborative project between 14 institutions -- grant management activities, and being a member of the Department’s administrative team.

Specific duties include budget management, preparing reports to submit to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), managing communications with the NIH, organizing an annual conference in addition to lecture and seminar series, creating and maintaining the content for the PSOC’s electronic newsletter and website, coordinating meetings and schedules, and making travel arrangements. Additional duties include general administrative tasks.





Job Qualifications

BA/BS or equivalent required; at least three years experience with sponsored research management and/or financial experience. Prior experience in an academic research department preferred. Excellent written, oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as computer skills required. Mac and PC experience.

Schedule

Standard office environment. Monday – Friday, 8:30AM-5PM
