Our investments in medical information technology allow us to offer safer and more efficient care as we focus on infection prevention, medication administration, reduction in patient falls and the patient experience. The Labor and Delivery wing encompasses 7 private labor rooms, 4 triage bays and 2 OR suites. The providers, nurses and support staff function as an interdisciplinary team to ensure the safest maternal and fetal outcomes, while providing a culturally, sensitive approach to moms during their labor, delivery and immediate recovery experience. Qualifications/Experience Qualified, external candidates must have a current MA RN license and a BSN from an accredited school of nursing. Current BLS, NRP and fetal monitoring certifications are required, along with a minimum of 3 years current Labor and Delivery experience. ACLS is preferred.Applicants should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience working with a multi-cultural patient population and a team approach to patient care. Current breastfeeding experience, incorporating Baby Friendly, is expected.
