Rehabilitation Manager position available at our hospital-based Outpatient Rehab in Weymouth:
South Shore Hospital's Outpatient Rehabilitation department offers convenient access to an extensive multidisciplinary team of experts who specialize in treating a broad range of conditions including but not limited to: lymphedema, aquatics, pediatrics and uro-gyn. We are looking for a strong clinician, with prior management experience, to focus on program growth, building physician relationships and marketing rehabilitation services throughout our region. This position will partner with peers across the continuum of care South Shore offers through Inpatient, Outpatient and Home Care rehabilitation services.
Our Outpatient Rehabilitation department is open Monday through Saturday, with evening hours until 8:30pm 4 nights a week. Last year our therapists saw almost 31,000 new pediatric and adult patients.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, is responsible for the direction, supervision and coordination of rehab services/staff for the Outpatient Rehab Department. Provides direct patient care as necessary.
BS, MS or DPT from an accredited Physical Therapy program or BS, BA, MS, MA or equivalent from accredited Occupational Therapy program. Five (5) years of therapy experience, with at least three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred. Current Massachusetts PT or OT licensure required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of start date.
