Job Description
At least 3 years experience as a General Lab Specialist. ASCP Certified or equivalent, some leadership experience preferred. According to established policies and procedures, performs various clinical laboratory tests and associated tasks for that testing. Under the direction of the Lab Section Supervisor oversees daily work of Medical Technologists to ensure that testing is accurate using protocols for quality control, instrument standards, test verification, and notification procedures. Assists Supervisor with tasks including; staff training, competencies, testing, ordering, quality control, troubleshooting instruments and department projects.
