The Research Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing technical support under the supervision of a licensed pharamcist. The primary duties of this technician will be to work on multiple myeloma clinical trials sponsored by Celgene. This will include patient registration with the company, drug ordering, mantaining drug inventory based on patient accrual, and ensuring all patient inforamtion on the forms are correct. In addition, this technician will participate in study team discussions regarding clinical trial specifics such as potential new patients, existing patients, cliinical trial amendments and coordination of patients, drug supply and audits with the sponsor. The technician will work closely with the multiple myeloma research team on other quality projects or assignments.
High School graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited entry-level degree program for pharmacy or related field
Mass Board of Pharmacy Registration as pharmacy intern or pharmacy technician
National Pharmacy Technician required
Two to five years pharmacy tech experience, with one year of IV admixture/outpatient pharmacy or investigational drug experience
Monday through Friday variable day shifts.
