Reporting to the Senior Director of Network Planning and Business Development, and in close collaboration with other directors in the department as well as staff, the Network Development Project Manager leads and designs the development of implementation plans for new affiliates, including hospitals, physician groups or other community-based relationships; provides regular communication on progress of implementation planning; and updates status of implementation activities. The Project Manager will oversee the implementation of agreed upon items and works plans, including meeting scheduling, coordination with internal and external operational and administrative persons as needed to ensure the timely implementation of plans and provides, at least quarterly, status reports of implementation plans to management.
Provides leadership in developing and documenting implementation plans specific to affiliate relationships. Works closely with the team to facilitate plans, including defining priorities, delineating action items/deliverables, and identifying timelines & accountabilities. Updates plans to reflect implementation status and any newly identified issues and timing.
Designs communication strategies for implementation plan/relationship progress reporting. Ensures timely and consistent communication of identified priorities, status, timelines and deliverables to involved parties.
Identifies issues that need resolution in order to move implementation process forward and work with appropriate persons to understand requirements for solving issues.
Performs other business and network development activities, including market analyses, preparation of business and/or program plans, and tracking of initiatives related to specific relationships.
Supports strong referral relationships between providers by helping to collect, track and update provider information used in referral management and reporting.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
3-5 years related work experience required in health care administration, hospital/insurer/consultant planning, business development, market research and project management.
Strong analytic skills, ability to adapt to changing priorities, and ability to work on and manage multiple projects.
Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous project management and/or planning or research experience with a health care provider, insurer or consultant. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and build rapport and relationship internally and within the network.
