Support Director of Programs in planning, coordinating and implementing programs and events to enhance NewBridge Memory Support community and meet intellectual, social, spiritual and physical needs of the residents.
Provide direct management and operational support to Memory Support Programming Team.
Perform administrative and programmatic work to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the team in meeting residents needs.
Interact with residents, team members and colleagues in a positive, supportive way; build trusting relationships with them and accept responsibility for all tasks assigned.
Be a self-starter, have the ability to prioritize, perform multiple tasks, anticipate needs, demonstrate initiative, and be skilled in community building.

Under the guidance of the Director of Programs develop Memory Support calendar of programs and events utilizing internal resources and external talent.
Plan and implement programs for Memory Support residents, including expressive therapy groups, spiritual and multigenerational programs.
Plan and coordinate community outings and act as a chief liaison
with transportation, resident care and dining services.
Develop and lead groups.
Lead Memory Support Programming team by providing guidance, support, mentorship and direct supervision. Continuously work to strengthen team cohesion and effectiveness.
Design and produce Memory Support monthly calendar of groups, outings and social events.
Be responsible for tracking and maintaining Memory Support expenses budget; be accountable for meeting annual budget expectations.
Manage all administrative aspects of day-to-day operations, including scheduling, financial and communication efforts.
Formulate and execute policies, structure, problem resolution and support
Coordinate in-house social events with spiritual department, housekeeping, catering department and transportation.
Be available for weekends, holidays and occasional evenings.
Willingness to support and guide student interns.
Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned, and accept changes in working venue, schedule, or tasks assigned.

Establish and maintain rapport with all residents by taking notice of any unfolding concerns (health, safety) that should be addressed to Resident Care team.

Compassion for and desire to work with a senior population.
Must be a Registered Expressive Therapist with 4-5 years of commensurate experience.
2-3 years of management experience required.
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. Must have ability to innovate, think strategically and conceptually, manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle difficult situations.
Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious and results-oriented individual. Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor, excellent oral and written communication skills, good intuition and sound judgment. Must be motivated to learn and flexible to change.
Computer literacy; experience with Windows, Word, Power Point, and Excel.
